Taki’s Journey is a Stone Age workshop for primary schools, delivered in your hall by Giant Journeys across the UK and Ireland. Pupils from Year 1 to Year 6 talk to Taki, an AI Stone Age child, and solve the mystery of the missing mammoth tusk. Sessions run 45 minutes, up to six classes a day, with all equipment provided.
Step back thousands of years and meet Taki, an 11-year-old child living in the Stone Age.
In this unique and immersive workshop, pupils travel back in time to discover what life was really like for the first humans. Through storytelling, investigation and live interaction with our AI character Taki, children explore how people survived, hunted, created tools and communicated long before modern civilisation.
And the most exciting part?
Your pupils can talk directly with Taki and ask their own questions about life in the Stone Age.
It’s history brought to life in a way children will never forget.
Taki is a Stone Age child who lives with their tribe near a cave deep in prehistoric Britain.
During the session, pupils will be able to speak to Taki through our AI-powered character experience. They can ask questions such as:
What did you eat in the Stone Age?
How did your tribe hunt mammoths?
What tools did you make?
Why do you paint on cave walls?
What happens when winter comes?
Taki answers in real time, turning the classroom into a living history experience where curiosity leads the learning.

Begin the adventure by meeting Taki, an 11-year-old Stone Age child who introduces the mystery and helps guide the class through prehistoric life.

Use Xbox controllers to explore prehistoric environments including caves, campsites and hunting grounds to discover hidden objects.

Chat with our AI Stone Age character in real time as pupils ask questions and receive clues to help solve the mystery.

Work in teams to complete challenges, uncover clues and decide which suspect removed the tribe’s ceremonial mammoth tusk.
