CSI Journey: Science, Teamwork and Real-World Thinking

Bring science to life with our popular CSI Journey, where pupils step into the shoes of forensic scientists to solve a diamond theft. The classroom transforms into a crime scene as students work in teams to collect evidence, study fingerprints, identify blood types and rule out suspects using clues and classroom science.

This workshop encourages collaboration, boosts problem-solving and offers new ways to explore STEM topics. Perfect for Key Stage 1 and 2, it’s also highly adaptable for SEND learners and a great fit for a themed science day.

Jurassic Dig Journey: Dinosaurs Brought to the Classroom

Our Jurassic Dig Journey combines tactile learning with Augmented Reality. Pupils uncover fossils in sandboxes, then analyse and classify what they find. From Triceratops horns to a T-Rex tooth, the excitement of the dig opens up questions about dinosaur behaviour, extinction, and prehistoric life.

The magic continues as children use tablets to scan special books, watching as dinosaurs come to life in 3D. From comparing sizes to observing movement and feeding habits, the experience is rich and deeply engaging. Schools can also book a visit from Reggie, our full-size animatronic T-Rex. Interactive, realistic and just a little bit noisy, Reggie turns a fun workshop into an unforgettable day.

WW2 Codebreaking Journey: History with a Twist

For those exploring World War Two, our Codebreaking Journey sees children join the ranks of Britain’s wartime intelligence units. Inspired by Bletchley Park, pupils learn the basics of cryptography, use communication skills to crack secret messages, and work together on logic-based challenges drawn from real historical techniques.

This session allows pupils to explore history through critical thinking, active tasks and storytelling. Physical movement is used to demonstrate Morse Code and keep the entire group engaged. It pairs beautifully with existing history topics and offers real context to classroom learning.

VR Journeys: Bringing Learning to Life

Our fully mobile VR setups bring the wonders of the world right into Nottingham schools. With headsets, tablets and high-quality visuals, pupils can step into environments they may never otherwise see.

We also offer workshops beyond science and history. Our Sport and VR Journey begins with a virtual tour of Ancient Olympia before pupils jump into physical challenges inspired by the Olympics. With laser timing gates, sprints and games, it makes fitness feel like fun while offering a cultural lens on global sporting traditions.

The Indian Dance Journey is equally dynamic, combining tradition, movement and story. Pupils try Kathak footwork and mudras (hand gestures), explore festivals like Diwali, and discover the cultural context of Indian performance art. It’s an inclusive way to deepen understanding of world cultures while keeping everyone active.

Dinosaur Visit Assembly

For maximum impact, schools can also book our Dinosaur Visit Assembly. Alongside real skeletal fossils, Reggie the giant animatronic T-Rex and baby dino Trixie interact with pupils in a session that’s more like a theatre show than a classroom. This spectacular event works brilliantly as a follow-up to the Jurassic Dig Journey or as a stand-alone highlight for science week.
