The Jurassic Dig Journey brings the prehistoric era to life for pupils across Harrogate. Young fossil hunters dig through specially created sandboxes, uncovering dinosaur remains while learning what they can tell us about creatures like Triceratops and Tyrannosaurus Rex.

Using tablets and AR books, children watch ancient animals appear in 3D, bringing classroom learning into clear, visual focus. This session is unique, exciting, and often topped off with a visit from our animatronic dinosaur, Reggie.

Decode History with WW2 Codebreaking Journey

Transport pupils to 1940s Britain, where as young codebreakers they must intercept and decode messages to help the Allies. This workshop is packed with problem-solving as pupils learn pattern recognition, cryptographic principles and Morse Code—all through physical movement, team games and narrative play.

The content adapts to suit both younger KS2 children and upper primary learners. It ties into wider topics including World War II, communication and logical thinking.
