We are delighted to be working with a growing number of schools in Bristol and the surrounding region.

Our workshops can be adapted for different year groups, curriculum subjects and school timetables. Sessions are delivered within the school and all equipment and resources are provided.

This allows schools to create an exciting educational experience without the cost, travel arrangements and additional staffing associated with an off-site school trip.

STEM Workshops for Schools in Bristol

Bristol has a remarkable connection with science, engineering and discovery, making it an ideal location for inspiring future scientists, inventors and explorers.
The city even has its own dinosaur. Thecodontosaurus, often known as the Bristol dinosaur, was discovered close to the city and remains an important part of Bristol’s scientific history.
The wider Bristol region is also famous for aviation and engineering. Filton played a major role in Britain’s aerospace industry and was closely associated with the development of Concorde.

These local connections provide an excellent starting point for workshops that encourage children to investigate, question, experiment and discover more about the world around them.

Virtual Reality Workshops for Bristol Schools

Our educational virtual reality workshops transport pupils to places and environments that would normally be impossible to visit during a school day.
Children can journey through space, dive beneath the ocean, travel inside the human body, encounter wild animals or explore tiny worlds hidden from ordinary view.

Our workshops can also be delivered across a wide range of ages. At West Town Lane Academy, the experience successfully engaged pupils from Year 1 through to Year 6.

Space Workshops and STEM Days

Our Space VR Journey is particularly popular for Science Week, STEM events and space-themed curriculum topics.
Wearing virtual reality headsets, pupils can explore space, observe planets and experience environments far beyond the classroom.
At Bridge Farm Primary School, Year 5 and Year 6 pupils took part in our Space VR experience as part of the school’s STEM day. The children were transported into space and talked enthusiastically about the experience after the workshops had finished.

Dinosaur Workshops for Bristol Schools

Our dinosaur experiences allow children to step into the prehistoric world without leaving their school.
Depending on the workshop selected, pupils can examine fossils, learn how palaeontologists use evidence and encounter our remarkably realistic dinosaurs.
Reggie the T-Rex is approximately five metres long and makes an unforgettable entrance. He can be joined by Trixie, our mischievous baby Tyrannosaurus rex, along with fossils, replica specimens and Big Ben, our enormous T-Rex skull.
With Bristol’s connection to Thecodontosaurus, a dinosaur workshop can provide an especially relevant way to introduce or enrich a topic about prehistoric life, fossils, evolution or scientific discovery.

Interactive History Workshops in Bristol

We also offer immersive history workshops in which pupils investigate detailed environments, uncover clues and speak to interactive AI avatar characters from the past.

Depending on the topic chosen, children might get to question a Roman centurion inside the Colosseum. Help Amina, a young Egyptian slave uncover her forgotten birth name, investigate a missing mammoth tusk in our Stone Age mystery or explore the experiences of a soldier during the First World War.
